Engine company operations may be the backbone of the fire service - but that doesn’t mean they’re simple. This program combines classroom and hands-on training to
deliver street-smart, fireground proven tactics and techniques for
rapidly placing attack lines in service and getting water on the fire.

This training program gives firefighters street-smart and practical application of modern firefighting science, with loads of real-world tactics for making an engine company more effective. We’ll cover the engine company in detail, from setting up the rig and crews, all the way to wrapping up from the fire.

This class is available as a 4-hour online course, 1-3 days of hands-on training, or a hybrid combination of both. See below for details.

In-Person Seminars

The Aggressive Firefighting Engine Company Operations training program is designed in approximately 4-hour segments that can be combined to build the exact operational training your department needs, ranging from 4 hours to several days. The first training session is typically a 4-hour classroom seminar, followed by hands-on skills stations. This can also be combined with any of our other programs for a 100% classroom-based training day.

The 4-hour seminar can also be completed online in advance of our instructors arrival to maximize hands-on training time for your members.

Hands-On Training

Our hands-on training days are highly customizable to your department needs. The Aggressive Engine Company Operations training program can be anywhere from 1-3 days of training comprised of a 4 hour seminar (in-person or online) and the skills stations of your choice.

The HOT days may also be customized to include skills stations of your choosing from various different training areas (Truck Company Operations, Aerial Operations, Command, RIT, etc.).

Your group would have a live session with our instructors to go over the key points of the course and discuss how the concepts might apply directly to your department or operations.
