This specialty hands-on training program builds your members’ skills and confidence in maximizing the capabilities of your tower or aerial apparatus. Also available as a 3-hour online course that can be taken on its own or paired with the HOT program.

The Aerial Operations program will focus on the knowledge and skills necessary to maximize the potential benefits of these unique and highly-capable aerial apparatus. It will give firefighters, officers and incident commanders a robust understanding of the capabilities of aerial and tower ladders and how they can most effectively be integrated into the fireground, while building your members’ confidence in utilizing them properly and to the full extent of their capabilities. This program is based on street-smart and fireground proven knowledge from members with many years of experience operating with tower ladders.
This program is available as a 4 hour in-person seminar plus 1-2 days of hands-on training.
It is also available as a 3 hour online course which can be taken on its own or in advance of our instructors’ arrival for in-person training in order to maximize your member’s hands-on training time.
It can also be paired with our Aggressive Truck Company training course for a comprehensive program that will cover both the apparatus operations (positioning and tactical use) as well as the fireground operations (forcible, entry, search, ventilation, ladders and more).
